Our approach to providing dementia care is person-centred, we look after the whole person; their emotional, social and care needs. We believe in celebrating life and focusing on what individuals can do, rather than what they can’t.

Dementia specialists and who we support

Bridge, Burton and Trent Courts are not mainstream care homes. These homes are unique in providing specialist care for people living with dementia and complex needs. We have a reputation for providing high-quality support in warm and inviting homes. This support is provided by our dedicated, multidisciplinary experienced and proactive staff and a hands-on management team. Care is delivered within a therapeutic environment that is personal to the individual.

Ways we support

The homes have close links with the local community and hospital services. Services such as dental, doctors, community psychiatric and district nurses.  There are activities, day trips and entertainment to keep everyone physically and mentally stimulated.

Management of our homes is thoroughly modern and professional; our policies of openness and respect permeate through all our actions. We encourage everyone who lives here and or their loved ones to express their opinions, suggestions, compliments, concerns or complaints. We take all comments seriously and use this feedback as a way of monitoring and improving standards. This openness is a core part of our approach, the people we support always come first.

We work closely with governing bodies, to ensure that quality standards are maintained. We listen to the people we support, and their loved ones and continuously strive to improve our services.

All reports of dissatisfaction with our service are treated seriously, dealt with quickly and efficiently, to attain a satisfactory resolution. We also reflect and learn from these experiences.
